Acupuncture creates a balance in the body that leads to a harmonious state we all call “health”. From back pain to infertility, many common complaints respond well to acupuncture.
Practitioners of Classical Chinese Medicine have an idea about what constitutes great health care that differs fundamentally from the disease-oriented philosophy of western “modern medicine”. Rather than treating disease, we focus on creating health. At first, that may seem like a slight distinction, but I believe this difference in perspective can have a direct impact on how healthy you can become!
This page is not about my approach, however. It is about you and what conditions might be standing between you and vibrant health. People come to me seeking help with pain, poor sleep, depression, low energy and many other health conditions. For many of them, they are coming for acupuncture as a last resort, after everything else they’ve tried has failed to give them a decent quality of life. Others come in after hearing the success stories of friends or relatives who may have been treated for a similar condition. However, if you are reading this, you are probably in neither group. You want an idea if this “acupuncture stuff” has at least a decent chance of helping you out. After all, who wants to waste time and money on something that’s not likely to help, right?
The good news is that Classical Chinese Medicine is a complete system of health care to which most common complaints respond well.
I have created a special section in the Learning Center of this website dedicated to how acupuncture can help people dealing with specific health concerns. I invite you to follow the link to Learning Center to take a look at how acupuncture can help you reach your specific health goals.

Your health shows up in your self-esteem, your relationships with other people, the things you dare to go for in life, or even see as possible. Whether or not it is something you notice every day, illness, pain, imbalance and/or sub-par health profoundly affect your experience of life and the experiences of life of all of those around you. These effects ripple out. This is exactly why I chose to become an acupuncturist- so that together our ripple-effect can be the kind caused by health.
