Cost of Acupuncture Treatment

  1. Your initial treatment will be made much easier if you come to your appointment with your new patient paperwork filled out. To fill out your health history paperwork, simply click here.
  2. Your initial acupuncture treatment at Balanced Being Acupuncture will consist of an intensive about your health history, based both on your written forms and our conversation as well as a detailed discussion about your health goals.
  3. Following the intake you will receive an acupuncture treatment.
  4. The entire process of the first visit takes approximately 90 minutes.

Follow Up Visits

Follow-up visits consist of a brief intake discussion of what has changed in your health and any new priorities that you have for treatment. The discussion will be followed by an acupuncture treatment. I treat and diagnose using Classical Acupuncture.

Cost of Acupuncture Treatment

The cost of acupuncture treatment includes the initial assessment and treatment costs $120. Subsequent visits cost $90.

Forms of Payment Accepted

I accept cash, personal check, and credit card. If you have a flexible spending account through your employer it may be used to pay for acupuncture treatment with pre-tax dollars.

As a new patient, you have many questions. Plan on being with us for 2 hours.

For your first treatment we set aside about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. This allows us to resolve a detailed and holistic picture of your health, and understand your health goals and values. We ask that you please arrive on time so that we are able to spend the maximum amount of time on your intake and treatment. Except in special circumstances, follow-up treatments will normally take 45 minutes.

By dressing in comfortable loose-fitting clothing you can often reduce the amount of disrobing or reconfiguration you may have to do. Please be assured that no matter how you dress, your privacy and dignity will always be respected.

For the best experience we highly recommend all new patients print and fill out the initial forms for new patients in advance. This will allow for a more relaxed pace for your intake and treatment process, and for optimal results.
